This app is a large system’s interface that consists mainly of spreadsheets with essential data on labor costs, vacations, projects, contracts, and costs on specific work packages. A user can apply filters for spreadsheets to view information and upload data.
The customer is a Russian company offering software development services.
The client entrusted us with developing a management tool to help companies efficiently coordinate their activities and resources. After a free consultation with our experts, primary project requirements for this management system were established. The app should include data on vacations, project spreadsheets, measuring time and budgets.
First, we have analyzed project requirements with regard to resources and deadlines. This helped us to decide on what approach to choose.
For frontend development, we picked React.js, a modern framework that enabled us to achieve a great user experience and optimize our development efforts. To build clear application side effects, easier management, and testing, we have adopted the following tools: redux-saga, react-router, node-sass, redux-actions.
We used Java as the main technology for backend development. We chose it because the system has a complex architecture. Java components are easily available, making scaling of large apps smooth.
The project was finished in 4 months in line with the requirements. Our development team has fully implemented a vacation and project spreads, and project and contract boards’ layout. Also, we have added data from a backend. To access the service, the user should select a specific VPN configuration while connecting to the database.
